DENVER (KDVR) — Denver's weather saw showers and thunderstorms move in Thursday evening, with rain having an impact on the roads from the mountains to the Eastern Plains. Flash flood warnings were in effect across multiple areas, including in Larimer, Yuma and Sedgwick counties. The mountains also saw rain on Thursday — a mudslide poured debris on Colorado Highway 125, closing the road indefinitely. DENVER (KDVR) — One person died in a crash along Interstate 70 on Thursday evening near Bennett.The call came in at 5:13 p.m., according to Colorado State Patrol. FORT LUPTON, Colo. (KDVR) — A dog rescue has incorporated a unique approach for people wanting to adopt a dog. It is as simple as going outside for a walk.It was a perfect day for a walk with man's and woman's best friend, all thanks to Galen Sylk."I started it because I realized that all the dogs in the shelter really needed to get outdoors," Sylk said. SAN DIEGO -- A former employee at the San Diego State University Aztec Shops tested positive for tuberculosis, the university confirmed on Thursday.According to the university, the County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency notified the school of the case, prompting them to notify individuals who might have been exposed to the employee from Feb. 22 to June 22 of this year."As people who become ill with TB may be sick for months before they are diagnosed, potential exposure windows can be long, and are shared out of an abundance of caution," SDSU said in an email Thursday to the campus community.No-cost testing has been organized for employees at the Aztec Shops who have been identified as close contacts.
